Artist's Statement

In my heart, I am a storyteller disguised as a pleinair painter. I paint people in their everyday interactions with Nature and seek to capture the grandeur of the ordinary.

I find great joy in mentoring and teaching. By helping aspiring artists, I have found true friends and created a happy and rewarding painting family with whom I keep in constant contact.
